ASIC Test Engineer
A fantastic opportunity for a skilled ASIC Test Engineer to join a globally renowned Research and Development Centre, working on next generation microchips alongside the team at their Headquarters in Leuven, Belgium.
This is initially a 12 Month Contract with option to extend.
Responsibilities:
* The definition and overall planning of the work packages of the different project stages, together with the Project Manager.
* Setting up the ASIC test solution with the test house.
* Discussing the ASIC prototype-to-production volume ramp plan with the customer including characterization & qualification.
* Organizing volume production after the volume ramp phase. You propose cost improvement plans such as yield improvement plans, multi-site test solutions and different packaging options together with the customer and test house.
Required knowledge and skills:
* You have a Master’s degree in Electronics, preferably with more than 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of ASIC testing idealy .
* You have experience with ASIC qualification such as HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU, etc.
* You have experience in project-based work.
* You are pro-active and customer focused.
* Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
