Join our Client's Technology Management – R&D Team as an R&D Engineer and contribute to the mechanical development of innovative pharma equipment, from concept to first prototypes.
What You'll Do
* Design and develop mechanical prototypes and feasibility process modules
* Translate process concepts into functional equipment or test units
* Create 3D models of new machines and process modules
* Work with suppliers and supply chain to source prototype components
* Support prototype assembly and testing
* Improve existing equipment, continuous lines, and tablet presses
* Collaborate closely with the R&D Manager and engineering team
* Ensure health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
What We're Looking For
* MSc in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
* 5+ years experience in design and development of complex industrial equipment
* Strong knowledge of machine construction & process engineering
* Creative, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
* Fluent in English & Dutch (French is a plus)
* Strong safety awareness and quality focus
