Your role :
As a IT Analyst / Developer COBOL, you will join our client current team supporting group life insurance systems in IT department. We are seeking an IT Analyst/Developer to analyze and develop the solutions required to maintain and evolve the core application. You will join a team of six colleagues who are eager to welcome you.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Manage the daily operations of the group life back-end application running on the
* mainframe.
* Deliver projects within agreed timelines.
* Monitor and follow up on daily incidents (low volume).
* Contribute to technical and functional documentation through code analysis and
* application behavior review.
* Implement simple, structured, and efficient solutions.
Profile :
* Bachelor's degree in IT development or equivalent experience.
* At least 3 years of experience in IT solutions within life insurance.
* Excellent command of French or Dutch, with good knowledge of the other
* national language, and comfortable working in English.
* Strong knowledge of COBOL / DB2; experience with mainframe environments
* and/or group life insurance is an asset.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Rigorous, organized, able to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* Able to learn quickly and work at a sustained pace in a dynamic environment.
* Analytical mindset, solution-oriented, and results-driven.
