Procurement Specialist
**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead, develop and implement state-of-the-art category management strategies. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall result and competitiveness of our organization by defining and executing end-to-end category management processes.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute sourcing strategy aligned with central and local strategies.
* Define and lead initiatives to ensure that objectives and targets are met.
* Become the point of contact and knowledge for suppliers and stakeholders.
* Ensure all volume and financial targets are achieved within agreed timescales.
* SOURCE, negotiate, select and sign annual framework agreements with suppliers.
* Identify potential cost reductions and assign to local responsibility.
* Provide in-depth expertise and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the category related suppliers, markets and trends.
* Realize access to innovative services to support the business needs and secure competitive advantages.
* Manage the supplier contracts and monitor the execution of bonus & discount agreements.
* Establish, manage and continuously develop relationship with suppliers (SRM).
**Requirements**
To be successful as a Procurement Specialist, you must have:
* At least 5 years experience as a Procurement professional.
* A team player with strong communication skills in English, Dutch and French.
* Strong analytical skills.
* A results-oriented mindset.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Relationship builder with both internal and external stakeholders.
