EGN is looking for a hands on Head of Sales to lead a fully office based sales organisation where all new member acquisition happens through phone based sales and online meetings with senior decision makers.
This is a working leadership role for a leader who enjoys being close to the business, coaching salespeople, creating accountability, and building the consistency that turns a team into a high performing commercial unit.
The title is Head of Sales, but the right profile may also be a strong Sales Manager ready for the next major step. What matters most is your ability to lead people well, create momentum, and deliver predictable and profitable growth through strong commercial execution.
The Role
As Head of Sales, Belgium and the Netherlands, you will lead and develop a sales team across the two markets.
Your mission is to strengthen commercial execution and deliver consistent new member acquisition results by building a sales organisation that is disciplined, trusted, and repeatable. This is first and foremost a leadership role. The need is not for someone to carry an individual sales target or build a personal book of business. The need is for a leader who can coach, prioritise, follow up, and help the team perform at a higher and more consistent level.
You will stay close to the business, support key customer conversations when needed, and play a central role in creating clarity, energy, and commercial discipline across the organisation.
What you will be responsible for
Lead, coach, and develop a sales team of 16 people across Belgium and the Netherlands
Own new member acquisition performance across both markets
Build structure, accountability, and consistency in the way the team works
Create clear sales processes, standards, and rhythms that improve pipeline quality and forecasting
Support the team in key and complex membership conversations with senior decision makers
Strengthen how the team positions EGN’s value, qualifies opportunities, and guides prospects towards clear decisions
Drive stable team results through leadership, coaching, and performance management
Work closely with marketing and senior leadership to strengthen commercial direction and EGN’s local presence in both markets
Build an environment where people know what is expected, feel supported, and are motivated to perform
What we are looking for
You may come from a Head of Sales position, or you may be a strong Sales Manager ready to step into broader leadership responsibility.
What matters most is that you bring:
5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a track record of building and scaling sales teams while achieving revenue goals
Experience driving sustainable growth in complex B2B or service based sales environments where trust and long term relationships matter
A people focused leadership style, with a genuine interest in hiring, coaching, and developing salespeople over time
A player coach mindset, with the ability to stay close to key customer conversations when needed
The ability to create structure, follow through, and commercial discipline
Strong judgment in balancing support, challenge, and accountability
Experience improving team performance through coaching, expectations, and execution
The ability to work closely with sales, marketing, and senior leadership
Native level Dutch is required, and you are fluent in professional English.
