About Our Client

Job Description
* Take ownership of the year-end closing and monthly reporting cycles
* Manage general ledger activities, including AP/AR supervision
* Support and coach a team of junior and medior accountants
* Ensure accurate transactional processing with AS400 and Scare tools
* Act as a liaison between the finance team and group-level stakeholders
* Step in operationally whenever needed to maintain workflow continuity
* Provide structure and oversight during a period with minimal handover
The Successful Applicant
* 5-10 years of experience in GL accounting and closing activities
* Strong technical accounting expertise with the ability to troubleshoot independently
* Confident in guiding less experienced team members
* Fluent in French and comfortable with basic Dutch
* Capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced and time-sensitive context
* Hands-on mindset and readiness to operate without formal transfer of knowledge
* Available during the holiday period and able to start immediately
