Your team
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll join the Industry team, as part of the Customer Solutions organization. The Industry team realizes the targets and strategies set in the industry business plans together with the Commercial and Delivery teams. The Industry team guides and supports the Commercial and Delivery teams with industry-specific commercial expertise, advice, and solutions.
About you
Essential talents and qualifications:
1. A university degree in business administration, supply chain management, or marketing. Solid experience in the field is an alternative.
2. 5-10 years commercial experience in business software solutions, or supply chain consultancy.
3. Excellent communication skills in English.
4. Confidence when dealing with complex customer needs and various technology use cases.
5. Quick to understand a prospect’s true challenges and to develop a positive business relationship.
6. A team-player who works well in a global team and independently.
7. Willing to travel as necessary.
8. Outstanding social media skills, with a special focus on LinkedIn.
Bonus points if you have:
9. Knowledge of French and/or German.
10. An understanding of supply chain management and planning challenges.
11. Experience in one of OMP’s core industries: chemicals, life sciences, metals, consumer goods, paper, plastic film, or packaging.
