Solution Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced Solution Manager to lead and manage agile roles within our enterprise solution domain.
As a Solution Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Leading and managing the product or capability team, consisting of product owners, developers, testers, and solution architects within your tribe/domain.
* Defining and managing a vision and roadmap based on stakeholder input, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategy.
* Aligning with business Tribe Leads and Epic Owners to refine capabilities into prioritized features and ensure smooth communication across stakeholders.
* Supporting stakeholder involvement in backlog prioritization and consolidating business requirements.
* Ensuring collaboration inside and outside the tribe, collaborating with other Solution Managers on cross-dependencies and ensuring continuous improvements by sharing best practices.
* Demand and capacity management: providing insights and reporting to involved stakeholders, including financials and capacity vs. demand.
* Product portfolio management: interacting with Tribe Architect to align on value stream evolution and understanding key properties and changes to technical assets.
* Quality assurance: managing compliance with IT standards (architecture, security, data, ...) with product owner, program manager, and other involved stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong organizational skillset with a pragmatic and coaching approach.
* A proven track record of at least 10 years in ICT program management with 5+ years of experience in Agile Methodology.
* An entrepreneurial drive with a focus on results and the ability to anticipate future needs.
* Thought leadership and strategic thinking with an agile mindset.
* Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in at least one of the local languages (NL/FR).
* Technical knowledge in agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and an affinity with IT.
