We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate a large-scale, international software development initiative. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 90+ associates distributed across multiple countries, including Application Architects, Lead Business Analysts, and Airlines Industry SMEs. The project involves designing and deploying a microservices-based application using Java technologies on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a global development team of 90+ associates across multiple time zones.
* Coordinate the efforts of Application Architects, Business Analysts, and SMEs to ensure alignment with project goals.
* Oversee the design and implementation of a microservices-based architecture using Java technologies.
* Ensure successful deployment and operation of the application on AWS infrastructure.
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
* Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
* Ensure adherence to quality standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
* Drive continuous improvement and agile best practices across the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
* Proven experience managing large-scale software development projects with international teams.
* Strong technical background in Java, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment (preferably AWS).
* Experience working with cross-functional roles including architects, analysts, and SMEs.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
* Experience in the airline or travel industry.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
* Multilingual communication skills.
