Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and ensure the continuous availability, stability, and performance of Datacom network platforms.
* Investigate, resolve, and escalate network incidents and technical issues in collaboration with network architects, product owners, and external partners.
* Act as a primary contact for stakeholders during network incidents, technical problems, and planned maintenance activities.
* Support daily operations, planning activities, and project work by responding to requests from internal teams and external partners.
* Perform operational and administrative tasks to maintain platform quality, including documentation and reporting.
* Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications, or equivalent practical experience.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of modern LAN and WAN technologies, including SDH, DWDM, IP/MPLS, and VoIP, along with their management systems.
* Experience in a Helpdesk, Network Operations Center (NOC), or Network Operations Engineer role is a strong advantage.
* Fluent in Dutch or French, with good proficiency in the other national language, and strong working knowledge of English (mandatory).
* Strong motivation to continuously expand technical knowledge and skills in Datacom networking technologies.
* Ability to work independently, methodically, and responsibly, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
* Excellent analytical and communication abilities to assess impact and risk and communicate effectively.
* Flexible, approachable, and resilient under pressure, with the ability to respond calmly to urgent operational issues.
