Arts and Culture Coordinator Position
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels seeks to promote the overall image of Hong Kong, with a focus on its economic and trade interests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project implementation: planning, implementing and coordinating projects and events in collaboration with artists and stakeholders to promote Hong Kong's arts and culture in Europe.
2. Cultural liaison: establishing contacts and maintaining an arts and cultural network representing Hong Kong interests in Europe.
3. Publicity support: managing social media and other publicity work to promote Hong Kong as an international arts and cultural centre.
4. Event management: supporting Hong Kong artists/art groups/delegations in cultural events in Europe to foster Hong Kong-Europe exchanges.
Requirements:
1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent; majoring in arts management, performing arts and creative industries such as music, dance, drama, stage design, or arts and culture-related disciplines will be given priority.
2. Considerable working experience in arts and cultural administration, public relations and/or event management fields.
Applicants should have excellent written and spoken English skills, proficiency in either French or Dutch, and knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage. They should also be internet and social media savvy, a good team player with strong organisational, presentation and communication skills.
