As an Assistant Operations Manager, you support the Operations Manager in the daily management of our logistics operations. You are highly visible on the work floor, monitor processes, lead team leaders, and ensure stability in a high-volume environment with short lead times and tight deadlines.
What will you do?
* Support the Operations Manager in the daily operational management
* Coordinate inbound, outbound, fulfilment, and returns processes
* Lead and coach team leaders and employees in their development
* Oversee workforce planning, staffing levels, and productivity
* Monitor and analyse KPIs (productivity, quality, OTIF, absenteeism)
* Identify bottlenecks and initiate improvement actions
* Support lean and continuous process improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines
* Act as the point of contact during operational disruptions
* Support reporting and operational review meetings
* Actively contribute during peak periods such as Black Friday and the holiday season
Who are you?
* Experience in a logistics or e-commerce environment
* Leadership experience is a plus
* Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills
* Analytical, communicative, and results-oriented
* Experience with WMS/ERP systems
* Hands-on, resilient under pressure, decisive, and people-oriented
