Your duties and responsibilities?
As Compliance Officer, you will play a central role in ensuring regulatory compliance and strengthening the company’s governance framework.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring regulatory developments and assessing their impact on the organisation
* Developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures
* Acting as Data Protection Officer (DPO) and overseeing GDPR compliance
* Advising senior management on compliance and regulatory matters
* Preparing compliance reporting for management and regulatory authorities
* Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
* Coordinating internal and external compliance audits
* Leading compliance awareness and training initiatives across the organisation
Ideal profile?
* Experience: Around 5–10 years of experience in compliance, legal or regulatory roles (financial services exposure is a plus)
* Languages: Fluent in Dutch, French and English (trilingual is essential)
* Qualifications: Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent) and eligible for Fit & Proper assessment by the National Bank of Belgium
