We are hiring a Business Analyst for European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities

6. Strong process mapping and improvement skills (UML, BPMN, ARIS or similar).
7. Skilled in analysing and documenting undocumented systems.
8. Capability to write clear and structured technical and business documents and present/defend them
9. Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
10. Analysis and problem-solving skills
11. Very good knowledge of business continuity and ability to do business impact assessment.
12. Experience in a risk management context of at least 1 year is sought
13. Ability to create and implement IT controls efficiently as well as to follow up on it
14. Very good knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodologies
15. Very good ability to gather and document complex business requirements.
16. Strong process mapping and improvement skills
17. Ability to perform risk analysis.
18. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
19. Ability to cope with fast-changing technologies related to LMS and Moodle.
20. Experience with designing and implementing reporting solutions.
21. Experience with projects involving end of life systems.
22. Strong knowledge in measuring and tracking delivery to the business as fit for purpose and in accordance with agreed requirements (KPIs, quality measurements & control points).
The following are considered advantageous and useful for better fulfilling the tasks of the position:
23. Business assessment, risk assessment experience and skills
24. Knowledge of Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, PHP, MySQL, Power BI or similar, familiarity with AWS cloud.
25. Agile certification.
26. Business Analysis certification (CBAP or similar).
27. Service level management or success management of IT solutions experience of at least 1 year.
28. Stakeholder management, preferably in an e-learning context.
Successful Candidate
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor's or Master's degree
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
29. Very good knowledge of Moodle architecture, functionality, and database structure (or a strong willingness to learn) - (min. competence level [2])
30. At least 2 year experience in a e-learning context, preferably Moodle - (min. competence level [5])
31. At least 2 years’ experience in stakeholder management in a multi-stakeholder international environment - (min. competence level [5])
32. Experience with modelling using the BPMN, ARIS (or other similar) tools - (min. competence level [3])
33. Experience in business analyst role in large-scale IT software application development projects - (min. competence level [4])
