By supporting day-to-day workflows and driving continuous improvement, the team plays a key role in the smooth delivery of our solutions and the satisfaction of our customers.
POSITION
We are looking for a motivated and organised Renewal Operations Team Leader to support the coordination of daily activities, foster performance and accountability within a 3-person team, and help prepare the team for scaling and managing operational growth.
This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in operational environments who is ready to take on team coordination responsibilities. It combines process execution with people support, requiring strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
The Renewal Operations Team Leader will report to the VP Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and support the daily work of the renewal operations team to ensure quality, consistency, and timely execution of tasks within strict legal deadlines.
Manage high-risk, high-volume instructions with a strong focus on urgent priorities and stock handling.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory/legal requirements in day-to-day operations.
Act as a point of contact for team members to escalate questions, issues, or blockers, and provide guidance to help resolve them.
Monitor workflows and assist in identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements or risk mitigation.
Support onboarding and training of new team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation.
Help track key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to reporting.
Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalating sensitive issues when needed.
Contribute to preparing the team and the processes for scaling, by helping optimise workflows, supporting cross-training initiatives, and planning for future resource needs.
Coordinate with other departments: Accounting, Data Verification, Customer Success, IT
PROFILE
You are a hands-on team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a sharp eye for structure and compliance. You work well under pressure and are comfortable delivering high-quality outcomes under tight, legally binding deadlines.
You are confident in interpreting procedures and legal requirements, providing guidance to peers, and helping maintain compliance in a fast-paced, structured setting. You are resourceful, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve.
You are ready to step up and contribute to team leadership - supporting people, improving processes, and helping the team grow and adapt in a fast-moving and complex legal-operational environment.
Ideally, you have:
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Operations, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in operations, administration, or legal/technical coordination in a regulated environment.
Familiarity with legal deadlines or workflow-based platforms is highly valued.
Strong organisational skills and ability to guide and support peers.
Excellent written and spoken communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
A high sense of ownership and team spirit.
An eagerness to grow into a leadership role and contribute to team scalability and operational evolution.
