Job description
Based at Aliaxis’ global headquarters in Brussels, the role serves as the primary Enterprise Architecture authority for the Group, responsible for shaping the technology strategy and driving portfolio optimization across the organization.
The focus is on advancing enterprise architecture maturity by establishing scalable practices, frameworks, and metrics that enable consistent, value-driven decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
4. Architecture Strategy & Governance: Define future-state enterprise architecture blueprints, principles, standards, and governance framework. Conduct current-state assessments to identify transformation opportunities and architectural debt. Collaborate with regions and IT teams to translate business requirements into architectural solutions. Manage global standardization initiatives while accommodating regional and regulatory requirements.
5. IT Portfolio management: Establish governance processes and evaluation criteria to optimize IT investment decisions. Partner with business to prioritize technology demands and develop integrated technology roadmaps.
6. SAP Ecosystem Architecture Oversight: Drive architecture maturity within the ERP CoE. Provide architectural input for vendor selection and partner management.
7. ITIL integration: Embed architecture governance into ITIL processes. Define architecture standards across demand, incident, problem, and release management.
8. Technology Business Management and IT Financial Management: Support the implementation of TBM frameworks to enhance cost transparency and align IT investments with business capabilities. Define KPIs to measure IT’s contribution to business outcomes and ROI.
9. Tooling & Process Excellence: Promote and maintain the use of LeanIX for enterprise architecture management and Signavio for business process modeling to support architecture decisions.
Requirements
Success in this role requires deep enterprise architecture expertise and the ability to influence outcomes in a complex, global, and decentralized environment. The ideal candidate thrives on collaboration, thought leadership, and strategic alignment. Specifically, this includes:
10. Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF) with experience establishing and managing governance across multiple regions and business units.
11. Expert-level proficiency in LeanIX and Signavio.
12. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its ecosystem (incl. BTP, IBP, SAP Integration Suite).
13. Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and services (mainly MSFT Azure).
14. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value, with hands-on experience in ITFM practices, and the TBM framework.
15. Proven ability to build trust and foster collaboration to gain stakeholders alignment in a fast-paced, global, and diverse environment.
16. Motivation to shape and elevate enterprise architecture foundations within a federated global environment.
