As Finance Manager for our operations in Belgium, you will lead our accounting team of 3 to 4 accountants and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, robust internal controls, and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities
* You lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
* You oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger management.
* You ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings in compliance with Belgian GAAP and group standards.
* You champion digitalization initiatives, including ERP enhancements and automation projects.
* You act as a financial advisor to local management and group finance, supporting strategic decisions.
* You prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance reports, and you recommend corrective actions.
* You drive cost control initiatives and monitor spending against budget.
* You maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
* You liaise with auditors and ensure successful completion of audits.
