We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of a SaaS product. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, user experience, and business strategy. You will work closely with cross‐functional teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the product delivers maximum value and aligns with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
* Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
* Translate business objectives into clear, prioritised product backlogs.
* Work closely with engineering, UX, and business teams to deliver high‐quality product increments.
* Use data, customer insights, and market trends to inform product decisions.
SaaS Product Management
* Oversee the lifecycle of a cloud‐based SaaS product, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
* Collaborate with technical teams to define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Champion best practices in SaaS delivery, including release planning, feature rollout, and continuous improvement.
Vendor Management
* Manage relationships with third‐party vendors, ensuring service quality, contract adherence, and value for money.
* Evaluate vendor performance and coordinate with procurement or legal teams where required.
* Act as the primary point of contact for external technology partners and service providers.
Stakeholder Management
* Engage with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, align priorities, and communicate progress.
* Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions to ensure transparency and shared understanding.
* Balance competing priorities and negotiate trade‐offs to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Delivery & Execution
* Work closely with Scrum teams to ensure smooth sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
* Remove blockers, clarify requirements, and support the team in delivering on commitments.
* Monitor product performance and drive continuous optimisation.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a SaaS environment.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
* Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors and technology partners.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data‐driven decisions.
