We are looking for an experienced French-speaking Content Storyteller to join a dynamic Marketing & Communication team within a digital-first environment. You will be part of a Storytelling Chapter and work in an Agile, multidisciplinary squad dedicated to the Business Clients (Starters) segment for a leading Belgian financial institution.
In this role, you will transform strategic marketing briefs into high-impact, multi-channel content that drives engagement, visibility, and conversion. You will collaborate closely with MarCom Managers, Digital Marketing Experts, and Visual Creators to deliver consistent, high-quality storytelling across all touchpoints.
Translate marketing and communication briefs into high-quality, business-aligned content based on defined content pillars and segment objectives.
Create, adapt, and optimise content across multiple formats: articles, emails, social media posts, UX copy, video scripts, landing pages, and more.
Ensure all content is aligned with tone of voice, brand guidelines, and segment needs.
Optimise content for SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) to maximise visibility in search engines, AI-generated answers, and LLM outputs.
Apply SEO best practices and use tools such as Surfer SEO to improve content authority, structure, and performance.
Leverage AI tools to support research, drafting, optimisation, translation, and multi-channel adaptation while ensuring quality and compliance.
Collaborate with audiovisual teams to translate narratives into video, carousel, and short-form content.
Work in close collaboration with a Dutch-speaking Storyteller, translating and adapting content into French.
Monitor content performance (traffic, engagement, CTR, SOV, conversions) and propose actionable optimisations.
Ensure regulatory compliance (non-misleading communication, financial communication standards, anti-greenwashing rules).
Minimum 6 years of experience as a professional storyteller, content writer, or journalist.
Proven experience producing content across multiple channels (social media, email, articles, web pages, scripts, whitepapers, case studies, etc.).
Solid experience in SEO content optimisation.
Proficiency in using AI tools for content creation, research, optimisation, and translation.
Excellent French writing skills.
Very good understanding of Dutch (ability to translate, adapt, and participate in meetings).
Good command of English (ability to translate and work with English source content).
Experience in B2B content, ideally within entrepreneurship or SME segments.
Experience in financial services or banking environments.
Creative, curious, and analytically minded.
Strong team player with good communication and autonomy.
Interest in AI-driven content creation and optimisation.
