What we expect
We are looking for a motivated university student to join our Digital Transformation Experience team as an intern. The selected candidate will support our embedded software testing infrastructure, assisting in ensuring their availability. These devices will support our global to develop automated tests of our products developed by global distributed team. The professional would develop skills for intercultural communications, interact with testers and developers to contribute to the project achievement.
Key Responsibilities
* Infrastructure maintenance tests: Support the maintenance of the testing infrastructure, including network connectivity between our products and Linux-based test systems.
* Device setup and connectivity: Perform physical connections of devices under test (DUTs) and propose small improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
* Test environment monitoring: Monitor and ensure the availability and stability of test environments, identifying issues and taking corrective actions when necessary.
* Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance: Perform minor hardware fixes, including cabling adjustments, peripheral connections, and basic circuit board handling.
* Technical documentation: Update and maintain documentation related to the operation, configuration, and troubleshooting of test devices.
Qualifications
Education: Currently enrolled in a university program in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Availability: to commit to a 6-hour daily internship schedule.
Experience: Previous involvement in academic projects or student organizations is a plus.
Interest in embedded software, Linux, networking and automate quality assurance.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proactive to learn in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with project management methods and platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps is a plus.
Practical experience with embedded devices (e.g., Raspberry Pi), communication interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, and RS485, as well as basic knowledge of networking equipment including switches and other communication devices.
Language
Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
