Citymesh is looking for a Support Engineer to strengthen our helpdesk team. In this role, you will support customers in Belgium and the Netherlands with technical questions and incidents. You will register incidents and service requests in our support platform and act as the bridge between our customers and our network engineers. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that our customers are helped quickly and efficiently. Customer satisfaction is key. With a Trustpilot score of 4.3/5, you will help uphold that strong reputation every single day.
Your job in a nutshell:
Technical Support: you provide first-line technical support to customers with questions or issues regarding connectivity and network services.
Incident Management: you register, follow up on, and manage incidents and service requests through our support platform.
Troubleshooting: you analyze and resolve technical problems related to routers, modems, and network configurations.
Internal Collaboration: you work closely with our network engineers to elevate and resolve more complex technical issues.
Documentation: you clearly document incidents, solutions, and troubleshooting steps within our systems.
These are your Talents:
1 to 2 years of experience in a technical support role within telecom or IT.
Basic knowledge of network concepts such as WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, and DNS.
Experience with routers and modems; knowledge of xDSL, GPON, VoIP, or SIP is a plus.
You work smoothly with CRM systems and collaboration tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
Fluent communication in Dutch/French and English and resident in Belgium.
You can work both independently and in a team.
You are flexible and willing to work within a 40‑hour week in shifts between Monday and Saturday (08:00 ‑ 19:00).
You mainly work from our office in Sint‑Niklaas, with regular presence in Oostkamp.
