The project:
Our client in the Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage sector, is seeking an experienced AWS Developer to strengthen their team.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Application Development
* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and services on AWS.
* Build scalable backend services using serverless (Lambda) or container-based architectures (ECS/EKS).
* Develop event-driven architectures using services such as SNS, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
* Integrate applications with AWS-managed databases (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB) and storage services (S3).
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
* Implement infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
* Ensure environment consistency across development, testing, and production.
* Apply GitOps and DevOps best practices in daily development activities.
Cloud Integration & APIs
* Develop and expose RESTful APIs and microservices.
* Integrate applications with enterprise systems, data platforms, and third-party services.
* Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (IAM, Cognito, OAuth).
Operational Readiness & Support
* Implement logging, monitoring, and observability using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
* Contribute to incident resolution and root cause analysis.
* Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
* Support continuous improvement of deployment and runtime processes.
Is this you?
Required Experience
* 5+ years of experience in software development.
* At least 2–3 years of hands-on AWS development experience.
* Strong experience with backend development (Java, Python, Node.js, or similar).
* Experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments.
Technical Skills
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
* EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS
* API Gateway
* RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB
* S3
* VPC, IAM
* CloudWatch
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
* Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.
* Understanding of cloud security best practices and cost optimization.
Soft Skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
* Comfortable communicating with architects, DevOps, and operations stakeholders.
* Proactive mindset with a focus on quality and reliability.
