Job description
1. In this role, you execute the commercial controlling activities for the Belgian sales office, including day-to-day follow-up of the commercial results and alignment with the commercial business partners.
2. You manage, develop and improve the daily, weekly and monthly management reporting for Area Belgium.
3. You monitor and challenge the commercial performance against strategic objectives and discuss the results with Sales & Marketing Directors to identify key drivers, risks and opportunities that drive strategic decision making.
4. We count on you to perform variance analysis (volume, price, mix) and to conduct margin analysis by product category, channel and customer.
5. You take the lead in the commercial budgeting cycle, latest estimates and yearly review of all sales & marketing numbers reported to Lotus Bakeries Group.
6. You are responsible for ensuring accurate pricing and profitability set-up for all customers.
7. Acting as a key communicator, you are the main contact for all stakeholders within Sales, Marketing & Category Development Teams and you report directly to the Finance Controlling Manager.

Profile
To excel in this role and effectively achieve the responsibilities outlined, we believe you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
8. A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Commercial Engineering.
9. At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar finance or controlling role; experience as an auditor at the Big4, is an advantage.
10. As with any controlling function, you bring a strong business orientation and a critical mind willing to understand and analyze the business drivers behind the numbers.
11. Due to your mastership of Excel, you are ready to make an impact by presenting reports in a structured way and revealing the story behind the numbers; familiarity with SAP and BI tools is considered a plus.
12. You are fluent in both Dutch & English. French is considered a plus.
