We are looking for an experienced professional to fill the position of Service Manager specializing in Software Defined Networking (SDN) services with a focus on micro-segmentation.
About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of SDN services with micro-segmentation as a core component.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of SDN services, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to micro-segmentation policies.
* Develop and document micro-segmentation policies, workflows, and service definitions to support effective service management.
* Ensure the enforcement of segmentation policies and monitor services to guarantee optimal performance.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for DIGIT on all SDN service matters, providing expert guidance on segmentation-related issues.
* Lead incident, change, and problem management processes for SDN and segmentation services, driving swift resolution and continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
* Cultivate strong relationships with DIGIT units and other stakeholders to develop and enforce business-driven segmentation policies.
* Nurture partnerships with vendors to ensure micro-segmentation capabilities are effectively supported, maintained, and advanced.
* Facilitate service review and governance meetings to ensure SDN and segmentation compliance and maturity.
Service Evolution and Innovation
* Drive the development of the micro-segmentation service within the SDN catalog, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies.
* Support the integration of SDN micro-segmentation with hybrid and multi-cloud services, fostering agility and scalability.
* Implement automation for segmentation rule provisioning and policy lifecycle management, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
* Promote micro-segmentation adoption across services, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust and security-by-design principles.
To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, with a strong background in SDN and micro-segmentation. Proficiency in network policy models, traffic flows, service chains, and security zoning is essential.
Familiarity with cloud-native networking and hybrid security architecture is highly desirable, as is a proven track record of managing SLA and KPI-driven services.
