We currently have a vacancy for a UX Designer fluent in English, to offer services as an expert based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either at the company’s premises or on-site at customer locations. In the initial assignment, the successful candidate will join the Development team and closely collaborate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
1. Analyze business needs in UX
2. Facilitate participatory design, design sprints, and conversational design
3. Prepare quantitative and qualitative research and analysis in UX
4. Design task flows
5. Design UX and services for online content
6. Synthesize UX research, web analytics data, surveys, and organizational goals
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in IT or a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in IT
* Expertise in usability and accessibility standards
* Experience as a UX consultant, researcher, digital communicator, or equivalent
* Proficiency with UI design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
* Knowledge of web technologies and standards (HTML, XML, CSS, SEO, web analytics)
* Knowledge of Web Accessibility (WCAG) standards
* Knowledge of HTML/CSS
* Experience with prototyping, wireframing, interaction flows, information architecture, and user testing
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like JIRA and Confluence
* Excellent command of the English language
