 
        
        As a System Architect, you will take on a key technical leadership role within a European R&D project focused on the development and evolution of advanced unmanned systems. You will ensure the proper execution of the full development lifecycle (V-cycle), from concept definition to validation and testing, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and technical activities across multiple partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to define, organize, and oversee all technical activities.
- Ensure consistent application and validation of the V-cycle throughout the project phases.
- Optimize team workflows, technical processes, and overall project efficiency.
- Review and validate all technical developments, documentation, and design reviews.
- Supervise system prototyping, integration, and testing activities.
- Serve as the main technical reference point within the consortium.
- Coordinate technical alignment and communication between engineering teams across different sites.
Profile / Requirements :
- Master's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electromechanics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Engineer or System Architect in robotics, automation, or similar complex systems.
- Experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) is considered a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with the maritime or defence sector is a plus.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Hands-on mindset — willing to engage directly in technical challenges.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.
