As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing 3D CAD models and technical drawings for complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.
You'll take concepts from initial design through to production, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and quality at every step.
Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5, NX, or SolidWorks
Design automotive components such as brackets, housings, mechanisms, and structural parts
Support design reviews, DFMEA, and tolerance analyses
Collaborate with simulation, prototyping, and manufacturing teams
Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO/TS 16949, GD&T, DFMA)
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
~2–6 years' experience in mechanical design within the automotive or mobility sector
~ Strong proficiency with CAD software (CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks)
~ Understanding of plastic injection, sheet metal, or casting design
~ Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a strong plus
~ Passionate about technology, sustainability, and vehicle design
