Strategic Supply Chain consultant - Fuels
We’re looing for a freelance strategic Logistics/Supply Chain consultant for a market mapping project with a major petroleum company in Flanders.
Start- As soon as possible
Duration- 5-6 months with option for long term extension
Type- Freelance contract via Amoria Bond
This consultants aim is to further develop a project to market map a large part of the European market to see if a better market strategy is needed. Currently the organisation procures final product (Diesel/HVO/Petrol) from local suppliers, however management wants to evaluate whether a different market approach is more effective.
They’re looking for someone with in depth market analyses, ideally with a background in the road fuel/petrol industry. The project will be led by someone from the internal organisation, however further support is needed.
Initially the plan is to come up with a market analyses in order to create a business case by September/October. Depending on the findings, this consultant might also be deployed in the implementation of the project, which could mean a long term collaboration.
Profile requirements:
* Track-record of strategic market analyses projects
* Ideally experience in petroleum sector or deep knowledge on the commodity
* Knowledge on EU regulations on petrol is highly useful
* Experience creating business cases
* Able to work very independently
* Strong analytical capabilities
* Fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage)
