You will join a complex public services environment where information security is a critical enabler of digital services, data protection, and regulatory compliance. The organization is strengthening its security governance, risk management, and control frameworks across data, infrastructure, and application domains.
In this role, you combine strategic security governance with hands-on expertise, helping the organization mature its security posture while remaining pragmatic and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze, design, and improve information security governance, processes, and controls
* Define, implement, and maintain security policies and management frameworks
* Perform and support risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security reviews
* Advise on and support security implementations across data, infrastructure, and application layers
* Contribute to regulatory and framework compliance initiatives
* Document security processes, controls, and governance structures
* Act as a trusted security advisor to technical and business stakeholders
What are we looking for?
* You have
5+ years of experience
as a
Security Consultant or Security Officer
in enterprise environments
* You bring
5+ years of hands-on experience
in
information security
across data, infrastructure, and/or application domains
* You have
5+ years of experience
with
security governance, risk management, and policy frameworks
* You have proven experience in
analyzing, optimizing, and documenting security processes and governance
* You possess strong knowledge of
information security management frameworks
and operational security practices
* You have relevant
security certifications or equivalent demonstrated expertise
in your domain
* You are
native Dutch (CEFR C2)
Nice to Haves
* Experience with GRC tooling (e.g. Maiky, Vanta, Drata)
* Experience with ISO-based or sector-specific compliance frameworks
* Knowledge of NIS2 requirements and implementation practices
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH
* Experience aligning security controls with business-driven risk prioritization
