We are hiring for one of our clients, a major player in the retail sector, looking for an IT Governance Advisor to join their multidisciplinary IT Governance team.
In this role, you will support the IT Governance Team Manager and contribute to key governance pillars such as:
IT Strategy : supporting strategic initiatives, workforce planning, and alignment between business and IT priorities.
IT Finance & Investments : ensuring cost transparency, budget monitoring, financial reporting, and supporting investment committees.
IT Audits & Risks : managing IT risk follow-up, supporting internal/external audits, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.
IT Quality & Performance : maintaining KPIs/SLA catalogues, driving performance reporting, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
IT Process & Methods : optimizing and documenting IT processes (Lean approach, RACI frameworks).
Stakeholder Communication : strengthening IT service culture, maintaining communication materials, and supporting internal communication plans.
You will collaborate closely with IT teams, finance, HR, audit bodies, risk management, and business owners, acting as a key ambassador for operational excellence and governance maturity.
Mandatory Skills
To succeed in this position, the candidate must demonstrate:
Proven experience in IT Governance (minimum 2–3 pillars such as Strategy, Finance, Risk, Quality, Processes).
Strong understanding of IT financial management, budgeting, cost transparency, and investment reporting.
Experience with audit processes, internal controls, and IT risk management .
Ability to define and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance frameworks .
Solid knowledge of process optimization methodologies (Lean, continuous improvement, RACI models).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to translate complex IT topics into clear business messages.
Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven and structured approach .
Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a plus).
