Overview As a member of the CT Motor Competence Center you will actively participate in the development of the next generation of high-speed motors for direct-driven turbo compressors and expanders. These are critical to our science-based targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Responsibilities
Involved in the electro-mechanical design, testing and field follow-up of TDD motors.
Follow-up the entire development process from prototyping to serial production.
Support mechanical design activities and validate prototype parts.
Lead organization of lab test setups, test planning and documentation.
Develop and execute practical validation methods for designs.
Provide support in prototype, product and production documentation.
Validate suppliers and support SQA activities.
Participate in multi-physics analyses (thermal, mechanical strength, vibration, etc.).
Consult other teams/divisions on drivetrain related issues.
Qualifications
Master of Science in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in the electric motor manufacturing industry.
Prepared to take the lead in small projects or project-related tasks.
Familiar with Office365, MS Teams and other office tools.
Familiarity with CAD systems (CATIA, Inventor) is an asset.
Experience with mathematical software (preferably MATLAB) is an asset.
Fluent in English.
