Senior E&I Engineer – FEED / Concept Engineering Antwerp, Belgium (Hybrid) Freelance Contract – 12 months A chemical production site in the Antwerp is preparing several major brownfield expansion and infrastructure upgrade projects across utilities and process units. They are looking for a Senior E&I Engineer to support this early project phase. Responsibilities: Develop concept designs for electrical and instrumentation systems for new and upgraded process units Prepare single line diagrams and preliminary electrical system layouts Define instrumentation philosophy and control system architecture Support development of FEED engineering documentation Specify process instrumentation and electrical equipment Contribute to technical scope definitions and project cost estimates Work closely with process, mechanical and automation teams during the early engineering phase Ensure designs align with IEC, ATEX and site engineering standards Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation 5 years' experience in E&I engineering within process industry Experience working on FEED or concept engineering phases Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and industrial electrical systems Experience working on chemical or petrochemical plants Fluent in Dutch and English
