What you’ll do
Design holistic product experiences that seamlessly integrate in people’s lifestyle. You’ll focus on an excellent user experience of Loop products, working at the intersection of form, function, and interaction. You’ll design how people engage with our products, from opening the box to everyday use, and own the user experience of physical products that people wear, touch, and live with. You’ll define how users interact with Loop products in the real world, understand their context, and prototype solutions that improve comfort, usability, and delight. You’ll shape every physical touchpoint: fit, grip, feedback, affordance and collaborate with industrial design, acoustics, and hardware engineering to bring your work to life.
Your responsibilities include:
* Inspire your project team and empathize with the end user
* Translate product requirements into intuitive physical design flows
* Partner with industrial designers to optimize comfort and tactile experience
* Apply accessibility and usability principles to hardware interactions
* Lead ergonomic testing and physical interaction studies with users
How you’ll succeed as a Senior User Experience Designer
This role requires understanding user pain points and design opportunities. You’ll think about materials, feedback mechanisms, and use environments, staying grounded in real user needs. You’ll collaborate across disciplines and push for design decisions backed by insight. You’ll thrive here if you combine curiosity, precision, and a sharp sense for how people interact with everyday objects.
Key competencies
* 5+ years of experience designing user experiences for physical or wearable products
* Strong knowledge of ergonomics, tactile design, and user research methods
* Skilled in prototyping and testing physical interactions (foam, 3D, CAD, sewing, etc.)
* Comfortable working with industrial design, hardware, digital and engineering teams
* Experience designing for manufacturing constraints and production environments
