Koda Staff is working exclusively with GAMING1 to hire a Product Manager – Sports Betting.
This is an opportunity to shape the betting experiences used by thousands of players across multiple markets, helping define the future of GAMING1’s sportsbook offering.
You will own the discovery, development, and optimisation of sports betting products and features, balancing customer experience, trading requirements, commercial objectives, technical constraints, and regulatory considerations.
The Opportunity:
As a Product Manager, you will act as the voice of the sports bettor, identifying high-impact customer problems and sportsbook performance opportunities.
Working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Trading, and Operations teams, you will guide products from discovery through delivery, ensuring decisions are grounded in customer insight, experimentation, and measurable outcomes.
This is a role for someone who enjoys combining product thinking, data-driven decision-making, and a genuine passion for sports betting.
Your Mission:
- Deliver exceptional betting experiences that drive customer engagement and retention
- Identify and prioritise the highest-impact opportunities across the sportsbook journey
- Translate customer needs and business objectives into measurable product outcomes
- Drive experimentation, learning, and continuous optimisation
- Balance user experience, commercial performance, and operational realities
Key Responsibilities:
Product Discovery & Strategy
- Contribute to sportsbook strategy through bettor insights, market analysis, and performance data
- Identify friction points across the end-to-end betting journey
- Analyse sports betting trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments
- Lead discovery initiatives, from problem framing through hypothesis validation
- Champion simplicity, trust, and long-term customer value
Product Delivery & Execution
- Own and prioritise the sportsbook product backlog
- Translate validated opportunities into clear product requirements and success criteria
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and business stakeholders
- Balance scope, speed, quality, and risk throughout delivery
- Align product initiatives with sporting calendars, business priorities, and dependencies
Data, Performance & Optimisation
- Define and monitor product success metrics
- Analyse adoption, engagement, and commercial performance
- Drive experimentation to validate assumptions and improve outcomes
- Turn betting and customer insights into actionable product decisions
Experience & Skills:
Product Management Background
- 3+ years of Product Management experience
- Strong understanding of product discovery, delivery, and outcome-driven product development
- Experience working in digital product environments with multiple stakeholders
Sports Betting Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the sports betting ecosystem
- Familiarity with trading operations, risk management, and sportsbook products
- Understanding of promotions such as free bets, odds boosts, and loyalty mechanics
- Experience within sports betting, gaming, casino, fintech, or other regulated industries is highly desirable
Analytical & Commercial Thinking
- Ability to identify and prioritise customer and business problems using data and insight
- Comfortable defining and interpreting product success metrics
- Strong decision-making skills in complex and fast-moving environments
- Ability to balance customer needs, commercial goals, and technical constraints
