Job Title Program Manager – FR/NL/EN – ALTEN Belgium
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Program Manager to join our teams and work on large, long-term industrial programs in Belgium, within the aerospace sector.
As a Program Manager, you will act as an entrepreneur within the organisation, fully accountable for both customer satisfaction and economic performance. You will lead a multi-functional, matrix Program Team to deliver on the approved business case while guaranteeing quality, cost and schedule targets.
Leading the multi-functional (matrix) Program Team throughout the full program lifecycle, from bid phase to closure
Managing the commercial relationship with the customer and acting as the primary customer interface
Ensuring all Program Management and Support processes are rigorously followed
Achieving or exceeding target program performance (Quality, Financial, Schedule and Environmental objectives) for both make and buy perimeter
Implementing program performance measurement (KPIs, Earned Value Management)
Implementing risk and opportunity management processes
Implementing data management and configuration management processes
Driving organisational improvement and Lean Continuous Improvement initiatives within the team
Promoting and maintaining a strong quality culture across the Program Team
Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
At least 10 years of program management experience, including ownership of contracts
€Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with long-term programs (development and serial production)
Program management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
Strong business acumen and ability to produce and interpret financial and performance data (KPIs, business plans)
ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities without compromising quality
Familiarity with certification processes and quality management systems
IT: MS Office, MS Project, SAP
Languages: Dutch, French and English (professional level required)
