Location: Brussels ( Hybrid and partial on-site presence is required)Duration: 6 monthsContract Type: FreelanceDaily Rate: €550/day VAT EXCLUDEDFreelance CRM Marketing Cloud Developer (Salesforce) – Brussels (On-site/Hybrid)We’re seeking a seasoned Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to support the evolution of a major public transport operator's CRM environment (Salesforce ecosystem). In this freelance role, you'll take charge of maintaining and enhancing the Marketing Cloud platform, developing customer journeys, integrating new data flows, and ensuring campaign performance.This full-time freelance engagement is based in Brussels and offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on quality, performance, and customer experience.Your MissionEnsure stability, scalability, and performance of digital marketing campaigns.Design and implement personalized customer journeys using Journey Builder.Develop and optimize SQL queries, AMPscript/SSJS, automations, and dynamic content.Support and enhance the integration with Salesforce Sales Cloud and external systems.Maintain and document code with a focus on performance and maintainability.Your ToolboxSalesforce Marketing Cloud (SMC):Mastery of Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, Contact Builder.Advanced experience with SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, and MC Connect.Experience with SDK Mobile for mobile app integration.Salesforce Sales Cloud:Proficiency in standard and custom objects, flows, data triggers, and API/batch data integrations.Development:Strong HTML/CSS for responsive and client-compatible emails (including Dark Mode).Solid understanding of JavaScript for Cloud Pages and Python for automation scripts and APIs.ResponsibilitiesDefine technical specifications based on business needs.Develop and implement user stories and technical modules.Create and manage complex journeys with targeting logic and event triggers.Optimize data flows and implement new GDPR-compliant consent models.Implement double opt-in mobile flow with SDK integration (e.g., Floya app).Audit and enhance MC-SC synchronization, support E2E/SIT/UAT testing.Manage release/deployment pipelines and fix issues post-test.Deliver and maintain technical documentation.What You BringStrong collaborative mindset with CRM and Marketing teams.High adaptability in structured and evolving environments.Technical curiosity and autonomy in identifying new solutions.Clean, documented, and scalable code practices.What We BringA mission with impact: Play a key role in maintaining and evolving a large-scale public digital platform, where your work will directly enhance customer experience and digital communication performance.Modern technological environment: Work with the full Salesforce Marketing Cloud suite (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Cloud Pages, Automation Studio) and contribute to technical innovation and best practices.Diverse and collaborative team: Join a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, quality, and customer-centricity, with strong ties between marketing, IT, and CRM functions.Hybrid work flexibility: Based in Brussels, with the possibility to combine on-site and remote work to best suit your productivity and comfort.Language RequirementsFrench or Dutch – C1 level (spoken and written).English – Professional working proficiency (B2 minimum).
