As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will take ownership of the project from the creation of the project management plan for the assigned mission, through its execution according to the defined governance and methodology, up to its closure.
The mission aims to deploy IT network infrastructures to support the electric bus charging management solution of OTW. The equipment will be deployed across approximately fifty OTW sites.
You will prepare an industrialised approach for deploying network infrastructures in the relevant depots, maximising the harmonisation of solutions. You will rely on architectural guidelines established in collaboration with our IT Infrastructure team. With their support, you will carry out an inventory of the equipment in place at existing sites and propose the best approach for network expansion.
* You will liaise with design offices and technical departments to communicate our requirements.
* You will coordinate the execution of activities (architecture – preparation – planning – deployment – testing – post-deployment support – documentation – transfer to operational teams).
* During the deployment phase, you will coordinate the activities of our internal and external IT providers to ensure the network is set up in synchronisation with site managers, which will require regular travel to TEC depots.
* You will monitor purchase orders, logistics, technical, organisational, and financial aspects of the project, as well as the associated reporting.
* At project closure, you will produce a lessons learned report to contribute to continuous improvement.
Your Profile
* You hold a degree in engineering or a master’s degree in computer science with proven experience in managing IT infrastructure in an industrial environment (LAN/network infrastructure) and have at least 5 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects.
* Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and equivalent experience will also be considered.
* You hold a required project management certification, enabling you to translate the assigned mission into a project plan in line with project management methodologies and ensure its successful execution and monitoring.
* You have strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to large, cross-functional organisations, enabling you to identify the specific needs of the project.
* You are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to interact easily with a wide range of public transport stakeholders.
* Energy, organisational skills, and leadership are key strengths of yours.
* You are skilled in risk management and anticipation, enabling you to operate in environments where system availability is critical.
* A very good command of English is required.
* You are proficient in MS Office.
* You are able to work fully independently.
