Job Description – ServiceNow Legal Service Delivery Consultant

Location: Belgium (Near Gent)

Languages: English & Dutch

Start Date: ASAP

Remote Work: To be discussed during the interview

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Consultant with proven expertise in implementing ServiceNow Legal Service Delivery (LSD). The ideal candidate will support clients in designing, configuring, and optimizing Legal workflows and service operations on the ServiceNow platform.

You will collaborate with legal departments, IT teams, and business stakeholders to streamline legal intake processes, automate case management, and enhance the overall efficiency of legal services.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting & Discovery

* Engage with legal and business stakeholders to understand requirements and existing legal service workflows.
* Conduct workshops and discovery sessions related to Legal Service Delivery.
* Advise on best practices for legal operations, service intake, automations, and knowledge management.

Design & Implementation

* Design, configure, and implement:
* Legal Intake & Case Management
* Legal Matter workflows
* Legal request portals
* Knowledge Base for legal documents
* SLAs, approvals, automations, and notifications
* Integrate Legal Service Delivery with other ServiceNow modules when required.
* Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow guidelines and align with customer expectations.

Project Execution

* Participate in full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, build, test, deployment, and post‐go‐live support.
* Produce documentation: functional specs, process flows, configuration documents, training materials.
* Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and project managers.

Support & Continuous Improvement

* Provide post‐implementation support and enhancements.
* Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
* Stay up‐to‐date with ServiceNow Legal Service Delivery releases and new features.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

* Strong hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow Legal Service Delivery.
* Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities (Flow Designer, forms, lists, access control, portals).
* Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools is a plus.

Functional Skills

* Understanding of legal processes such as intake, matter management, document management, and contract workflows.
* Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
* Strong documentation and presentation skills.

Soft Skills

* Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
* Comfortable engaging with legal stakeholders and explaining technical concepts clearly.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business, Law, or related field.
* ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS) are a strong advantage.
* Previous experience in Legal Operations or Legal Tech is a plus.

Work Conditions

* Role based in Belgium (Gent)
* Remote work options will be discussed during the interview based on project needs.
