To further strengthen this internal quality, we are looking for a Team Leader Data & Application Support — someone who, with expertise, oversight, and enthusiasm, can elevate our team to the next level and ensure an efficient, user-friendly, and future-ready system environment.
Your job
As Team Leader Data & Application Support, you lead a team of two employees specialized in application support. Together, you build sustainable and user-friendly tools that support our organization, enabling every colleague to focus on their core tasks — without having to worry about systems that are not functioning optimally.
In this role, you report directly to our Operations Manager and actively contribute to shaping the future of your team as well as the further development of our internal operations within Bechtle.
Your Responsibilities
* You lead and motivate four employees to deliver the highest quality to our internal colleagues every day.
* You schedule regular one-to-one meetings to guide, motivate, and support employees, and to provide direction where needed.
* You organize periodic team meetings to follow up on projects, discuss improvements, and celebrate successes together.
* You consult regularly with stakeholders across Europe to ensure that our Belgian operations continue to perform optimally.
* You analyze data, draw conclusions, and share these insights with fellow team leaders during management meetings.
* Together with your team, you serve as the primary point of contact for our internal systems and ensure that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
* You communicate proactively about system changes and ensure that everyone stays informed about new developments.
* You promote the use of our internal tools and motivate employees to get the most out of them.
* Together with your team, you organize workshops and training sessions for new employees, and provide refresher courses for existing colleagues.
Your Profile
In addition to being a true people manager, you also have strong technical skills and you gain satisfaction from helping others and supporting their development. You combine an analytical mindset with a warm, coaching leadership style.
* You speak fluent English, both spoken and written.
* Dutch and French are a plus.
* You have experience with internal tools such as CRM, Power BI, Navision, and SAP; knowledge of integration software such as Aruba or Coupa is a valuable asset.
* In recent years, you have gained in-depth knowledge of software solutions and internal systems, and you are now ready to take the next step in your career: leading and developing a team.
* You are a true bridge builder — you actively contribute to the One Bechtle concept and ensure that everyone is aligned with new systems and processes.
* You see the bigger picture and are not afraid to critically review existing workflows, always with the goal of improvement.
* Together with the Operations Manager, you work on the long-term strategy for the Data & Application Support team and contribute to building a future-proof digital organization.
