We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering. This person will join our team to develop high-end technology solutions which are being used world-wide.
The perfect candidate is well-versed in Java (Spring/Quarkus), Python and React. This person is comfortable with a cloud-native environment (AWS) and feels at home in an agile, self-organizing team. They are quality-conscious, have an opinion, and are not afraid to speak up.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON If this is you, you will be working with your team on:
Developing new capabilities for our customs & trade stakeholders
Refining, implementing, and verifying features and user stories
Writing and updating technical documentation
Implement new or updated solutions into production
Provide L3 type of support of the applications owned by the scrum team
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You will be a member of a self-steering agile team within the ELC Technology department, led by the Software Engineering Manager and located at the European Logistics Center in Laakdal, Belgium. You will interact closely with other Software Engineering squads within Nike.
WHAT YOU BRING
You have an education in computer science, electronics or equal through experience
You are highly motivated, love challenging projects and you can work autonomously
Your communication is tailored to the audience and respectful
You’re not afraid to take ownership and have a professional sense of responsibility
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Written and oral communication skills in English
Working experience in logistics or the trade domain is a plus
Strong java development experience, knowledge of React is a plus
Technical skills: AWS, terraform, serverless, rest services, event driven architecture
Experience developing AI agents in Databricks is a plus (python)
