Medical Science Liaison Cardio‑Renal‑Metabolism Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Cardio‑Renal‑Metabolism (CRM) to work from Brussels and travel across Belgium and Luxembourg. The role focuses on gathering insights, disseminating scientific information, and engaging high‑level scientific professionals in the cardio‑renal metabolic space, including obesity and MASH.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a scientific resource for HCPs, answering queries and providing in‑depth information on medications and indications within your expertise.
Gather and communicate valuable field insights to support strategic direction in the pre‑launch phase.
Meet the needs of External Experts through detailed information and product/indication knowledge.
Provide field insights and feedback to the medical and asset team.
Collaborate with the Medical Manager within the CRM area.
Map, develop and maintain a network of HCPs and authorities.
Identify needs for registries, epidemiological studies, non‑trial activities, and other medical/scientific projects.
Support compassionate use applications, risk‑management plans, and disease‑management programs.
What You Should Bring To The Team
PhD or master’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacology or Life Sciences.
~2 years of industry experience (pharma/healthcare) is a plus.
Background in obesity or MASH preferred.
Knowledge of the Belgian health‑care system and the pharmaceutical industry.
Familiarity with clinical trial design and process.
Excellent command of French, Dutch and English.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills; able to convey scientific content to multiple audiences.
Quality mindset, proactive and result‑driven.
Strategic thinking and analytical skills with a growth mindset.
Comfort with a variety of stakeholder channels.
Outgoing, team‑player with strong peer‑relationship skills.
