Product Security Specialist
As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving product security locally in a business environment. Your main responsibilities will be:
* To actively drive product security and provide expert advice to executive management, product management, project management, and RD heads regarding security for all products, solutions, and services.
* In cooperation with the CEO and the Principal PSO, advise on appropriate processes and structures to introduce security into products, solutions, and services.
* Responsible for driving the security strategy, aligned with the company security strategy.
The role of the Product Security Specialist may also be defined for a large site or a country. The following tasks are part of your responsibility:
* Main Responsibilities
* Drive Security Strategy - Monitor the market, report security vulnerabilities, and consider incidents when defining an individual PS strategy and implementation policy for the BU/site/country (agreed by CEO and Principal PSO).
* Process Improvement Program - Steer a process improvement program to establish and maintain appropriate processes, ensuring organizational preparedness for product security of the BU/site/country.
* Incident and Vulnerability Handling - Implement and manage incident and vulnerability handling activities and process, drive classification of vulnerabilities and incidents, and perform final alignment with the Principal PSO.
* Supplier Qualification and Certification - Guide technological aspects, ensure that relevant stakeholders have sufficient awareness for product and solution security, and coordinate relevant standardization and regulation for product and solution security and required certifications of products, solutions, processes, or organizations within the business in line with respective businesses.
* Tech Direction - Coordinate and steer technical direction for product and solution security mechanisms in coordination with product security experts in respective projects.
* Legal, Import, and Export - Coordinate product and solution security topics with legal, import, and export.
* Communication - Represent the BU/site/country in all product and solution security matters.
* Internal Network - Establish an internal network and maintain an internal PS community.
* Communication Coordination - Ensure a coordinated communication of marketing and sales in line with corporate communication and the Principal PSO.
* Dedicated External Partners - Establish a network to dedicated external partners aligned with the Principal PSO.
* Information Security Organization - Synchronize adequately with the BU/site/region's information security organization to ensure that the IT infrastructure is sufficiently secure.
* Measurement and Reporting - Measure and report the status of adherence and application of product and solution security standards, processes, and policies as well as the implementation policy of the BU/site/country.
* Risk Management - Together with relevant stakeholders, decide how to handle escalated security risks in products and solutions and define risk acceptance criteria.
* Escalation and Reporting - Report to the CEO and Principal PSO; escalate/inform in case of emergencies; synchronize with other product security specialists.
