As a seasoned financial leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance teams in Continental Europe, supporting local finance managers, and contributing to our organization's growth by making strategic financial decisions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Timely Monthly Accounts Closing: Ensure timely monthly accounts closing and group deadline reporting.
* Clean Financial Statements: Maintain clean financial statements and audits.
* Corporate Income Tax Returns: Oversee corporate income tax returns and other fiscal filings with external tax consultants.
* Budget Development and Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and business plans.
* Consolidated Management Accounts: Consolidate management accounts for Continental Europe.
* Intercompany Management Fees: Manage intercompany management fees and recharge processes.
* Monthly Cash Flow Forecasts: Prepare monthly cash flow and working capital forecasts.
* Business Performance Monitoring: Monitor business performance and collaborate with regional leadership to develop corrective actions.
* Ad Hoc Financial Analyses: Conduct ad hoc financial analyses.
* Financial Process Improvement: Contribute to group financial process improvement and maintain control integrity.
* Capex Proposal Evaluation: Evaluate Capex proposals, monitor spending, and authorize as necessary.
* Relationship Maintenance: Maintain relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, government agencies, etc.
* Team Leadership: Lead Continental Europe finance teams, ensuring training and development needs are met.
