Our dynamic and forward-thinking team in Antwerp, Leuven and Hasselt is looking for a motivated (Senior) Legal Consultant who will : Assist a diverse clientele of local and international SME’s, tech companies and scale-ups Give practical, pragmatic and strategic advice to clients regarding a multitude of complex legal challenges, together with other colleagues in a multi-disciplinary model Screen and draft all kinds of (legal) documents, such as sales agreements, terms of service, cooperation agreements, license agreements, letters of intent, trademark registrations, notices of default, privacy procedures, SLAs, etc. Get the opportunity to choose his/her own focus in the diverse legal field of business and commercial law, including IP/IT-law, data protection, medical devices regulation, AI-act, competition and European law, and broader contract and cooperation legislation. Work in close collaboration with customers and help them to efficiently implement policies and procedures Negotiate agreements for customers and help them find appropriate solutions for disputes with their customers, suppliers, business partners, etc. Mentor younger colleagues and boost them in their learning journey Take up an active role in account management and business development, by e.G. researching new regulations and trends, marketing legal services, networking, giving workshops and seminars, publishing articles, etc. Hesitant of not ticking all these boxes? Let’s talk about you You have a master degree in law (an advanced master is a plus) You possess strong technical knowledge with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a lawyer, in-house legal counsel or legal consultant You are eager to learn, proactive, driven, down-to-earth and do not back down from a challenge You are strong in building/maintaining long-term customer relationships You are communicative, assertive and function well in a creative, dynamic and fast-growing team You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus) You like to work in multidisciplinary teams, together with tax specialists, accountants, strategic advisors, M&A, IT consultants, etc. Mentor younger colleagues and boost them in their learning journey Take up an active role in account management and business development, by e.G. researching new regulations and trends, marketing legal services, networking, giving workshops and seminars, publishing articles, etc.
