We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager for one of our clients based in Brussels. In this role, you will oversee complex IT projects within a large public-sector enterprise environment, ensuring successful delivery in line with agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Your role
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead IT projects related to End User Computing and associated technologies. You will act as a key partner for business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective coordination and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities
* Manage IT projects end-to-end, from initiation to delivery and transition to operations (build to run).
* Ensure strict governance of project scope, timelines, and budget in close collaboration with the client.
* Translate business requirements into concrete and actionable technical solutions.
* Define project structures, milestones, and detailed project plans.
* Build, coordinate, and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
* Supervise project execution and ensure adherence to agreed project plans and objectives.
* Organize testing phases, deployment, and go-live activities.
* Manage training, documentation, and project closure activities.
* Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and unforeseen events.
* Provide clear and regular reporting to management, clients, and project stakeholders.
* Contribute to the sharing and development of technical knowledge within the team.
Technical expertise
* Strong expertise in End User Computing, including Windows 11, Office, Microsoft 365, Teams, Mobile Device Management, and cybersecurity.
* Proven experience in Windows 11 migration projects.
* Solid background in cybersecurity projects for end-user devices.
* Strong experience in IT project management methodologies.
* Good knowledge of process and service management methodologies, such as ITIL.

Languages
* C1 level in French or Dutch, with a good working knowledge of the other national language.
* English is considered a plus.
