Your function Our client is a multidisciplinary and future-oriented real estate group, known for its commitment to architectural excellence and sustainability. To support their continued growth, they are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team and provide hands-on legal support across all phases of development projects. Provide strategic and operational legal advice on real estate transactions in Belgium and Luxembourg Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts (LOIs, sales and purchase agreements, rights in rem, construction contracts, leases, shareholder agreements, etc.) Support project structuring and incorporation of joint ventures or special purpose vehicles Assess legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies Collaborate with internal stakeholders (development, sales, project management, finance, insurance) and external parties (law firms, notaries) Follow-up on public procurement files and potential PPP initiatives Contribute to internal legal knowledge and assist in the resolution of legal disputes when they arise Participate in internal and external project meetings, offering pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice. Your profile Master of Laws from a Belgian university Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, including in a law firm and/or in-house legal department In-depth knowledge of real estate law; additional familiarity with tax law, M&A, planning or PPP is a plus Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills, with a business-oriented mindset Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently Fluent in French, Dutch and English Flexible, pragmatic and open-minded approach to legal problem-solving.
