Our client is seeking a skilled Risk Data Analysis & Reporting Expert to join our Risk department. This team plays a pivotal role in meeting supervisory reporting requirements, particularly related to solvency and credit risk.
As regulatory expectations become more demanding, complex, and ever-evolving, your expertise will be critical in ensuring our clients stay compliant and ahead of change. In this role, you will:
* Analyze and interpret banking regulations and reporting standards, translating them into practical reporting processes.
* Design and implement robust, efficient data processes that aggregate, calculate, and consolidate information required for reports.
* Use your strong database knowledge and data manipulation skills with specialized tools to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
* Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes, leveraging your understanding of workflows and IT systems.
* Set up and maintain internal controls to guarantee the quality and integrity of all reports.
* Serve as a point of contact for follow-up questions from supervisory authorities, auditors, internal departments, and management, providing clear explanations and justifications for reported figures.
You’ll collaborate closely with the IT department and other data-providing teams, making strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
Requirements
* A Master’s degree in a quantitative or economics-related field: Commercial Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Civil Engineering, etc.
* 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory banking reporting preferred.
* A naturally curious mindset with a constructive critical approach to process improvement.
* Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Creative, flexible, and skilled in managing priorities effectively.
* Familiarity with SAS and database environments is an asset.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Fluent in at least one national language (Dutch or French) and English, with a good understanding of the second national language.
