As a Group Senior Project Engineer you are responsible for the design and engineering of international projects. You will guide projects from A tot Z and this from large (40 million euro) to smaller projects (5 million euro).
Responsibilities
1. You are responsible for the conceptualization of new industrial projects within and outside Europe
2. You work closely with various parties: suppliers equipment & installations, process engineers, architects, local management team and management Veos-Group.
3. You communicate with the local project leader and make clear agreements so that the project can be carried out correctly on site.
4. You meticulously plan various aspects and select the best components for the project (including valves, pumps, tanks, piping, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic materials).
5. During project realization, you ensure that timelines, resources and budgets are met.
6. You will oversee the installation of the industrial facilities, perform the necessary analyses and prepare all project documentation (drawings, PID, spare parts lists, safety certificates).
Profile
7. You have a master's degree in engineering or equal by extensive project experience.
8. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project engineering or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects.
9. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
10. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
11. Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
12. Willing to travel abroad occasionally depending on the project (+/- 10 trips/year)
13. Food processing knowledge is a plus
