Your Tasks: You assist, advise and interpret the chemical analyses of polyurethane foam products and raw materials You develop and improve existing methodologies, new methods and techniques for chemical characterization You solve and report results of problems, issues, claims, questions with respect to chemical analyses You fully realize projects according to good project management principles – wherever relevant Supporting assistance is given where and to whom relevant: questions from Analytical lab team members, requests for analyses from R&D engineers, business requests for analyses, … You follow the procedures for testing and development, and you master document control You maintain and use the equipment properly, and control housekeeping in the Analytical lab by assuring that R&D Technicians have a full understanding on what to execute in a safe, healthy and environmentally proper way Your Profile You have a master in chemistry, or relevant by experience Experience with chromatography-, spectroscopy-, microscopy- and wet chemistry techniques is an asset Experience with (polyurethane) raw materials is an asset You have an analytical mindset, both technical and chemical You have an R&D mindset: practical hands-on approach for troubleshooting and maintenance of devices and equipment.
