At Telenet, we constantly strive to keep up with the rapidly changing digital world.
Entertainment consumption is evolving quickly. Our TV customers are using more and more diverse entertainment options. That’s exactly why we need a Product Manager TV—to ensure that our existing and future Telenet TV customers, alongside our existing entertainment products, also have the right solutions.
A Product Manager TV is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing a TV product strategy at Telenet. Analyses related to user needs, competition, strategy, technical implementation and communication fall under the responsibilities of the Product Manager.
You will create the roadmap and execute it in close collaboration with the Telenet teams from engineering, IT, marketing, digital, customer service, Liberty Global and external partners/suppliers.
You will also be the driving force behind an exceptional user experience for the entertainment products on TVs for our residential and SoHo customers, within our brands.
We are looking for a future colleague who is passionate about entertainment products and ready to help shape the future of our TV products.
Your Responsabilities:
1. Define the strategy for TV products, taking into account customer needs, data, technology evolutions and market trends.
2. Create a detailed roadmap and manage the full product lifecycle of the solutions in your portfolio.
3. Anticipate changes from competitors and market trends regarding TV and translate these into your roadmap.
4. Be the Telenet product expert in both business and technical aspects of TV. Act as an internal and external product ambassador for TV at Telenet.
5. Stay informed about the customer experience through various channels (research, sales channels, customer service, field technicians, web, etc.).
6. Monitor customer satisfaction with our solutions and initiate projects to improve the experience and bring innovations to customers.
7. Continuously review product performance, identify improvement areas and implement changes to optimize the user experience of TV products.
8. Act as a bridge-builder and work cross-functionally with various Telenet teams such as engineering, IT, marketing, digital, customer service, Liberty Global and external (global) partners.
9. Support the business cases of your own initiatives together with colleagues from finance and go-to-market.
10. Communicate effectively your product and strategy vision to internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile as Product Manager TV:
11. More than 5 years of experience in entertainment, specifically in TV / TV hardware solutions.
12. University degree in economics, engineering, marketing or an MBA.
13. Relevant experience in product management, marketing or engineering.
14. Passion for entertainment, technology and telecom.
15. A true team player who enjoys working in an agile environment but can also achieve results independently.
16. Takes ownership of projects and acts as a point of contact.
17. Combines strong analytical skills with a creative and positive mindset.
18. Strong and persuasive communicator who knows how to handle resistance.
19. Languages: English, Dutch and/or French
20. Experience with entertainment and/or TV solutions is highly recommended.
What we have to offer:
You will be joining a company that invests fully in you, adapting your work environment optimally to what you need. This will allow you to develop while taking care of your work-life balance.
What else will we throw into the fray?
21. You are given every opportunity to further develop your expertise. We stimulate your personal growth with internal mobility opportunities and extensive learning possibilities, but we also give you the chance to press the pause button after a while or to go in a completely different direction.
22. A varied job in which you produce tangible results and make your mark.
23. A competitive gross monthly salary that we complement with a host of fringe benefits (meal vouchers, cell phone, company car, hospitalization insurance, telephone subscription, discounts on Telenet products, working from home up to 3 days a week, ...).
24. The fine company of colleagues who are as passionate as you.
